Dr. Daniel Slaybaugh graduated from The University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2000. Thereafter, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Slaybaugh served honorably in The U.S. Army Reserve as a dentist for seven years from 2001 to 2008 and achieved the rank of Captain. Dr. Slaybaugh became a member of The Dental Walk-In Clinic of Tampa Bay in 2002.
Continuing education is a priority for Dr. Slaybaugh as he has taken hundreds of hours of courses to keep up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry and to ensure a high level of patient care. He takes pride in helping thousands of patients overcome their fears and anxieties during a dental emergency or creating a comprehensive plan with a patient to help restore and maintain oral health.
Dr. Slaybaugh and his wife, Sally, live in Tampa with their two daughters, Lauren and Jamie. Any given weekend, he can be seen cheering on his two cheerleading daughters at a high school football game or at a competitive cheer competition. When he is not working or traveling with his family, Dr. Slaybaugh is trying to improve his golf game.
